Vibrating feeder

Vibrating feeder is a common feeding equipment. In production, it can send block or granular materials to the receiving equipment evenly and continuously, which effectively improves the automation of production, improves the production efficiency, and greatly reduces the labor force of workers. In the production process, there will also be some common faults of the vibrating feeder, which will affect the normal feeding operation. Today, Xiaobian will take a look at several common faults and solutions of the vibrating feeder.

1. The equipment of Nanchang Kerui Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. does not vibrate or operate intermittently after startup

(1) Blown fuse or coil short circuit of vibration motor: replace new fuse in time, check coil layers or turns of vibration motor, eliminate short circuit, and connect outgoing line;

(2) The protective cover is damaged and rubs the eccentric block: repair or replace the protective cover and adjust the angle of the eccentric block.

2. No feeding or insufficient feeding

(1) The load of the silo squeezes the feed chute of the feeder, resulting in fatigue damage or fracture of the spring plate and connecting fork: note that the feed inlet and discharge outlet of the feed chute cannot be fixedly connected with other equipment, but the feed chute shall have a certain swimming range, so as not to affect the normal vibration amplitude of the vibrating feeder;

(2) Excessive feeding causes the accumulation of materials in the base, the increase of resistance of screw conveyor and the poor operation of hopper: reduce the feeding amount immediately and keep the feeding uniform;

(3) The vibration amplitude of the feeder is small, and the vibration exciter cannot adjust the amplitude normally. The vibration exciter thyristor is broken down by excessive voltage and current, or the gap between equipment parts is blocked by excess materials: clean the blocked materials in time and replace the vibration exciter thyristor.

3. Abnormal noise or loud impact during operation

(1) Loose or broken anchor bolts or connecting bolts between vibration exciter and tank body: check bolts at all places, replace or fasten them;

(2) The vibrating spring of the vibrating feeder is broken: replace the vibrating spring;

(3) Unstable voltage of vibration motor: adjust the motor control to maintain the rated working voltage to avoid mutual collision and voltage instability of machine parts during vibration.

4. If the feeder does not start, it can be checked from three aspects

(1) Check whether the three-phase power supply is disconnected and whether the voltage meets the requirements;

(2) Check whether the motor is stuck;

(3) Check whether the feeder starts under load. If so, start it after clearing the load.

5. The feeder has small amplitude and lateral swing

It may be that two vibrating motors operate in the same direction or one of them fails: check the wiring of the vibrating motor to ensure that the two vibrating motors operate in the opposite direction. During the operation of the vibrating feeder, in addition to timely overhaul in case of failure, daily maintenance shall be strengthened, such as regularly checking its amplitude and observing whether the surface temperature of the motor is normal; Strengthen the lubrication operation of the equipment, and regularly add lubricating grease to the bearing during use: once every two months and once a month in high temperature season; Disassemble and repair the motor every six months and replace the internal bearing. Reasonable maintenance can effectively reduce the wear of parts of vibrating feeder and prolong its service life.
